Reading the latest edition of TidBits today I stumbled across the company AssistiveWare. They build software for assisting the disabled use computers as well as products to facilitate receptive tasks. Their voice synthesizers are incredible. But I was blown away by the stories of some of the users of the software. Check them out. I know I sometimes take technology for granted. It's inspiring to see how transformational it can be.
