JPG founder leaves

|
I recently subscribed to JPG Magazine, a community powered photo magazine. Pretty neat concept. I just got my first issue (Issue 9) and really enjoyed it. Today I read a blog post from one of the founders, Derek Powazek, who just left in a huff. He offers an interesting summary on how the company was founded. Then he describes the circumstances of his departure. As far as I could tell, it seemed about creative control of the company. It sucks to see partners forced apart like this. Also, Derek no doubt damaged the company from a PR perspective with his blog post. Hopefully it won't impact his future ventures. But certainly looks like he learned a ton in the last three years. Hope he gets back out there again.
