Post bust, people started questioning whether the Internet was really transformative in creating new business models. Yes there was a lot of hype in the old days. But it really has opened up new opportunities never available pre Net. Are there any other industries today where you can go from zero customers to millions and a valuation of $1.6 billion dollars in under 12 months? Youtube is the latest example with Google's acquisition of the company today.
I've been in this industry for 10 years now and it still amazes me.
